Female founders give refreshing and captivating insights into their challenges, opportunities and learnings in the context of starting a business. Get to know the founder of Less Waste Club (powdered body care), Redi-School (which trains women with refugee and migration status to become IT experts) and Schäfer-Coaching, school director and author of "Resilienz" published by Reclam Verlag.

The impulses will be rounded off by the aspects of company law and labour law  which every female founder who needs capital should have in mind, by our two legal experts Carmen Meola and Josefin Wiedmann.

During the 90 minutes, you will be provided with numerous impulses, a look beyond your own nose and exciting insights that will encourage, motivate and equip female founders for their start-up project.

Carmen Meola joined Deloitte Legal as a partner on 1 July 2021. She advises corporate clients on German employment law in a precise and practice-oriented manner. She has more than 20 years of experience in planning and executing transformation and restructuring projects, outsourcing projects and business valuations/due diligence projects (both on buyer and seller side, RedFlag Reports, Legal Factbook) as well as negotiating the related company purchase agreements (HR part). Carmen Meola is the author of numerous publications in German and English and regularly speaks at webinars on employment law topics. Carmen Meola speaks German, English and Italian.

Josefin Wiedmann joined Deloitte Legal in November 2020 as a lawyer/associate in the service line Corporate/M&A. She completed her legal traineeship at the Offenburg Regional Court and studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, with a focus on commercial law. Josefin Wiedmann speaks German and English.
