In this next episode from our series on the EU Pay Transparency Directive we hear from Anca Dranca-Iacoban (Global HR Strategy Lead) and Wencke Boehm-Fliessgarten (Global Head of Broad-Based Reward) from ING Bank on lessons learned from undertaking their first Pay Equity analysis in 2022 and how they are preparing for implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive. We will also hear about preparations to undertake the Directive’s mandatory gender pay gap reporting across the EU; and to manage other key measures of the Directive including the ban on salary history questions to candidates and the requirement to publish pay bands for vacancies. Andreas Jentgens
Andreas Jentgens is a lawyer and partner who has been with Deloitte Legal since 2000. He is a managing director of Deloitte Legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and member of the Legal Leadership Team. From June 2023 till December 2024, Andreas Jentgens held the role of Managing Partner for Deloitte Legal Germany. Klaus Heeke
Klaus has been a partner in the Düsseldorf office of Deloitte Legal's German practice since joining in 2010. He heads both the employment law practice in the Düsseldorf office and the Employment Law & Benefits service line in Germany. Klaus has more than 20 years of experience in all areas of German employment law. He represents - out of court and in court - the legal interests of both domestic and internationally operating companies in connection with all issues relating to the relationship between employer and (i) employees on the one hand and (ii) works councils/trade unions on the other hand. Klaus has many years of expertise with regard to restructuring measures motivated by employment law and the support and implementation of M&A transactions. In doing so, he advises both medium-sized companies and large internationally operating groups.
