Weber Maschinenbau GmbH acquires SCHRÖDER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG

Deloitte Legal advises on acquisition

Deloitte Legal Dusseldorf advises Weber Maschinenbau on the acquisition of the market leader in curing technology worldwide and producer of packing machines SCHRÖDER Maschinenbau.

A Deloitte Legal Germany team led by Düsseldorf-based Corporate/M&A Partner Felix Felleisen has acted as legal advisor to Weber Maschinenbau in the context of the acquisition of SCHRÖDER Maschinenbau.

Weber has acquired the packaging and food processing company SCHRÖDER Maschinenbau. Ever since their foundation, both companies have had friendly ties and through the acquisition have now merged.

SCHRÖDER is known for its own tool manufacturing for packaging machines. The company has decades of experience in thermoformed packaging and thermoforming machinery. Customers are highly demanding when it comes to production capacity and to specific expertise and creativity in producing cutting devices and the complex, customized dies that they require. In addition, SCHRÖDER has well-grounded expertise in meat processing and offers production lines for processing meat, poultry and fish.

With this collaboration, the companies have created new possibilities for their shared future and thereby will continue to meet the expectations of their clients.

With in-depth expertise in process technology, the high quality of packaged goods will not begin only during slicing, but in mastering complex line functions.

The companies are looking forward to face and master coming major challenges due to the development of their market together.
