Deloitte Legal advises investor group on acquisition of Hakle GmbH
A Deloitte Legal team led by Düsseldorf-based Corporate/M&A partner Christofer Mellert has advised an acquisition company, held by tissue paper manager Volker Jung and financial investor Crosslantic, on the acquisition of tissue manufacturer Hakle GmbH.
The main seller, financial investor palero, acquired Hakle from Kimberly Clark in 2013. Volker Jung, new managing director of Hakle, commented: "We are very satisfied with the outcome of this transaction. This enables Hakle to make optimal use of its diverse growth potential such as continuous operational improvement, strategic expansion and the opening up of new product segments".
With the successful completion of the transaction, Christofer Mellert's team was once again able to demonstrate the special expertise of Deloitte's legal advisory arm in the legal support of M&A transactions, in particular with the participation of financial investors.
