Deloitte Legal is strengthening its cross-location Dispute Resolution & Litigati-on team at its Frankfurt/Main office. Francis Bellen (54) will be appointed partner at Deloitte Legal as of May 1, 2022.

Francis Bellen has represented clients in litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution for over 20 years. Most recently, he worked at Reed Smith. His work focuses on disputes in the areas of corporate, commercial and business law, antitrust damages claims, post-M&A disputes, as well as banking and finance law.

At Deloitte Legal, Francis Bellen will support the Dispute Resolution & Litigation service line. Francis Bellen joins Deloitte Legal together with Iris Kruse, who joins as a counsel. With this addition, the Dispute Resolution & Litigation service line grows to more than 15 highly specialized lawyers.

Thomas Northoff, Managing Partner Deloitte Legal, adds: "I am convinced that the addition of Francis Bellen will significantly support and strengthen the already very successful development of our litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice. His focus on disputes in corporate, commercial and business law, post-M&A disputes as well as banking and finance law is an excellent fit with our Frankfurt office and our local expertise."

Commenting on his motivation for the move, Francis Bellen says: "What attracts me to Deloitte Legal is its compelling strategy to expand its Dispute Resolution service offering, particularly in the innovative management of mass litigation and complex disputes. I am very much looking forward to working with an outstanding cross-functional team."
