Marc is a partner in the Munich office and a member of the Employment & Labor Group. He has extensive experience across all areas of employment-related law. A particular focus is the advice on restructuring and reorganization (incl. planning, structuring and execution) as well as on insolvency related labor & employment issues, such as staff reduction measures.
Additionally, he concentrates on industrial constitutional and collective bargaining law, including negations with work councils, as well as on compliance, data privacy, participation rights, contract law, temporary employment, AGG (German General Law of Non-Discrimination), stock options / employee benefits / company pension scheme, the German Minimum Wage Act and secondments. He regularly conducts employment litigation on behalf of employers and is experienced in defending unfair dismissal claims as well as in disputes with the works council. Furthermore, he advises on labor and employment law issues in connections with corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Deloitte Legal Marc was an Employment and Labor Law partner at Reed Smith LLP in Munich and before that a partner at Beiten Burkhardt in Munich.
Marc publishes and speaks regularly at seminars and conferences and counts global leading businesses as well as medium-sized companies, start-ups, financial institutions and investors to his clients.
