Deloitte Strengthens Advisory Practice in Estonia

Deloitte strengthens its position as one of the leading professional services firms in Estonia with Partner and key management position appointments from 1st of June 2018. 

Kristine Jarve, Deloitte Partner in Charge – Tax and Client & Industries leader in Baltics, will take the role of Estonia Country Leader to further grow the business by focusing on advisory, tax and legal expansion in Estonia. Kristine joined Deloitte in 2015 as Tax Partner focusing primarily on Lithuania, but working across all three Baltic States. She has over 20 years’ experience of advising companies and governments in various countries on taxation and tax policy, working for another Big4 company in Latvia, as well as for four years in London. Kristine is also a leader of two executive level women communities - SheXO Club in Latvia and association Lyderė in Lithuania.

Olga Savcuk, licensed auditor and member of ACCA, with an impressive 20 years of experience in audit, tax, accounting and other professional services, will take the lead of Business Process Solutions (BPS) Department in Estonia. Olga is a graduate of Kaunas University of Technology (MBA). For over seven years, Olga has been delivering lectures at ISM University of Management and Economics about the tax system, accounting theory and practice as well as finance management.

The BPS department at Deloitte provides accounting and financial services including full and partial outsource bookkeeping, payroll, financial statement preparation, management accounting, financial management, BPS services and provides advice on a variety of accounting issues.

Tõnis Elling will join Deloitte as a Tax Manager and will advise clients on variety of tax issues facing their businesses and transactions. He has over 20 years of professional experience of advising local and international clients on everyday as well as complex tax matters in a financial advisory firm and was recently leading the advisory unit at one of the largest accounting service companies in Estonia. He is specialized on tax planning strategies, VAT analysis, tax accounting and declarations as well as import, export and customs related taxation issues.

Tõnis is also well-known lecturer and highly recommended speaker at financial conferences. Since 2005 he has been the head lecturer of the Department of Taxation and Customs in the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. In addition, he has written numerous professional articles, published in economic newspapers and journals.
