Mohammed Abu Own is a Customs and Global Trade Advisory Senior Manager within Deloitte Middle East and is based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
With over 20 years of experience in the UAE, Mohammed offers insight into a number of areas including Financial Audit, Customs Post Clearance Audit, Fraud Detection & Prevention, Freud & Risk management, advisory expertise particularly in Post Clearance Audit.
Before joining Deloitte Middle East, he was a Post Clearance Audit Expert (SME) with the Saudi Customs Authority and started his career in one of the biggest International public accounting firms in Dubai. He also worked with Dubai Customs where he served a wide range of public and private sector clients (Free Zone and Main Land Companies).
