A joint study of City Hall and Deloitte Georgia on the potential of the Tbilisi economy has finally been published.
Full title - Sectoral Research of Investment Potential in Tbilisi. The results of the study were presented jointly by Kakha Kaladze (Tbilisi Mayor), Andrei Basilaya - Head of the Economic Development Department and Anton Orlovskiy - Manager of strategy and operations department at Deloitte.
More than 150 people attended the conference in Radisson, and the key research sectors of the business community was represented almost entirely: Hospitality, Healthcare, Pharma, Retail & Entertainment and Creative. During the presentation, participants discussed niche subsectors to attract investment, opportunities for new projects and recommendations to the government and business community. At the Q&A session, participants discussed other sectors of the economy as well as the importance of infrastructure, education, and a strategic plan for the development of sectors.
