New York, 21 November 2016—148 Deloitte professionals, from 44 countries, are recognized in the Women in Tax 2016 guide for professional excellence. Deloitte has more professionals listed in the guide than any other firm, for the second year running.

“We are very pleased to have so many Deloitte tax professionals – more than any other organization – recognized for excellence in International Tax Review’s Women in Tax 2016,” said Dan Lange, Deloitte Global Leader, Tax and Legal. “The landscape for tax is changing rapidly. A diverse and inclusive global culture enhances Deloitte’s ability to make an impact that matters, providing clients with leadership and confidence to help them overcome challenges and deal with uncertainty.”

Women in Tax highlights top women leaders making strides in a field traditionally viewed as male-dominated. Deloitte understands that greater gender equality creates the potential for better, more informed decision-making in our societies, an educated and diverse source of talent and role models who can be an inspiration to women and men worldwide.

Inclusion in International Tax Review’s Women in Tax is based on nominations from clients and peers. To be selected, leaders also must show evidence of outstanding success in the past year.

Deloitte leaders bring perspective and insight to create clarity and provide confidence to businesses to navigate the changes in the tax landscape.
