Deloitte named a Leader by Gartner in SAP S/4HANA Application Services Worldwide

NEW YORK, NY, USA, 28 May 2020—Gartner, the world’s leading information technology and advisory company, named Deloitte a Leader in its April 2020 report titled, Magic Quadrant for SAP S/4HANA Application Services, Worldwide.

Gartner states for the market definition, “the full life cycle of SAP S/4HANA application services, spanning project-based assessment and implementation, and multiyear application management services (AMS). Analysts evaluate service providers for their ability to deliver discrete or comprehensive set of assessment, implementation and management services for clients worldwide, across the SAP S/4HANA version 1610 or later and any S/4HANA Cloud version.”

On the SAP S/4HANA market, Gartner notes in the market overview “SAP has extended its mainstream maintenance for core applications of SAP Business Suite 7 software until the end of 2027, followed by optional extended maintenance until the end of 2030. While 39% of the references in this Magic Quadrant indicated that end of support was a key reason for their SAP S/4HANA adoption (up from 27%), we expect this extension of maintenance to further reduce the urgency for customers with no platform to migrate. The COVID-19 crisis and the likely ensuing recession are expected to slow S/4HANA adoption even more.”
