Tell us about your career path at Deloitte (How long have you worked for Deloitte, how has your career evolved?)

I have worked with Deloitte since 2003, starting in a training, communications, and change management role, helping member firms adopt new global technologies. I transitioned to a Chief of Staff role for the technology organization, driving executive messaging, sharing data-driven insights, and engaging the team and next-generation leaders on our strategy. I currently lead special projects for the Office of the Global CEO and the Managing Principal of Talent, Brand, and Communications. I work from my home and for over seven years, I have enjoyed a reduced work schedule to spend more time with my daughters.

What has been most interesting, challenging, or surprising about working for Deloitte?

I have been surprised at how open leaders are, how willing to share their knowledge and experience, and how they truly seem to want my point-of-view.

What will stand out for you as the greatest benefit of working for Deloitte?

The opportunity to carve my own path—to be able to work on global, complex projects and also prioritize my family.

How has Deloitte invested in you as a leader, helping you grow?

Phenomenal career milestone programs, mentoring, and leadership shadow programs. And outside of the classroom, they have put their trust in me and offered amazing opportunities to develop and grow.

How do you feel that you have been able to make an impact while working at Deloitte?

I hope I make an impact for our young women—showing them it is possible to have a wonderful, challenging career while also carving out time for family and personal pursuits.

List your proudest professional and personal achievements.

I am very proud to have been a key member of the Global CEO’s team and to have worked directly with him to help make his vision for the World Meeting a reality.

Personally, I have been blessed with a wonderful, supportive husband and two daughters, and I am proud to have completed two half-ironman triathlons.

What is one thing that people might be surprised to learn about you?

While I am quite introverted, I always wanted to be an actress on the silver screen.

Where do you see your career going in the next 5 years? 10?

People will always be our most important asset so I hope to continue the journey of leading programs that grow our future leaders and truly make an impact that matters to our people.
