A digital revamp powers national reach
In less than 12 months, the Deloitte – Metro Bank team delivered and launched a refreshed website and a new mobile banking app. The new account opening solution went live a further 12 months later.
Following the launch, app usage has increased and continues to attract new registrations each month. Moneywise readers voted Metro Bank’s app the Best Mobile Banking App in the magazine’s 2017 awards.
The account opening solution allows customers to complete the process in under ten minutes and a significant number of accounts were opened shortly after launch.
Deloitte is now engaging with Metro Bank on a number of other digital projects that will help the bank increase its reach to customers beyond London and the south of England.
