Tomorrow’s intelligent enterprise will be built not just by intelligent technologies, but by intelligent people. Where will those people come from? Many of them are sharpening their skills today at leading universities. And together with SAP, Deloitte is giving them an opportunity to shine.

Deloitte has once again teamed up with SAP to sponsor the SAP Co-Innovation Event, a competition designed to inspire the next generation of business and technology consulting leaders. The event—slated for August 2-4 at Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas—will bring together 128 students from 28 US universities to compete in a challenge using SAP software to address a real-world business challenge.

This year marks the fifth year that Deloitte has hosted the event, which shines a spotlight on individuals who can help tomorrow’s organizations reimagine everything—an entire universe of possibilities for building the intelligent enterprise with SAP solutions. The event also provides students with first-hand “day in the life of a consultant” experience and a strong sense of the value Deloitte delivers to clients every day.

The competition will see student teams leveraging the latest SAP technology to tackle an actual business problem, with the winning team earning the title of “champions.” During the event, student participants also will explore the potential of Deloitte Reimagine Platform solutions, developed in collaboration with SAP.

Energized innovators

The three-day competition will include students from SAP University Alliance programs who are learning from leading business and technology curricula that incorporate SAP solutions—students who are engaged and passionate about SAP technology, and who already understand its power and potential.

As a bracket-style tournament, the 2019 SAP Co-Innovation Event will see four teams making it to the “Final Four”—with three teams ultimately walking away with prizes.
