Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Greece View Map

As part of Deloitte's strategy, "EmPowerful Women by Deloitte", which aims to empower women of all ages and backgrounds, we are hosting the "Her Way Forward: Upskilling & Reskilling” Event – Tech Edition and calling all women who are passionate about tech to join us!

Whether you're a beginner looking to break into the tech industry or a professional seeking to advance your career, this is the ultimate opportunity to empower your future in tech, pursue your dreams and grow even further professionally.

Ready for a day full of Upskilling and Reskilling?

Upskilling and reskilling are crucial components of professional development, especially in rapidly evolving industries like technology. Upskilling refers to the practice of acquiring new skills or enhancing existing skills within your current field or industry and allows you to stay current with industry trends and technologies. On the other hand, reskilling involves acquiring entirely new skills, often for a different role or even for transitioning to a different industry.

Here’s what’s in store for you on that day:

  • Participate in practical Upskilling or Reskilling workshops to enhance your tech skills or acquire entirely new ones.
  • Empower yourself through Soft Skills workshops and get inspired by influential women leaders and experts in the tech industry.
  • Connect with like-minded individuals and build a supportive network of women sharing similar aspirations and goals.

Seats are limited! Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Any cancellations must be submitted in writing by 25 February at the latest by getting in touch with Anna Pantali (apantali@deloitte.gr). Your cooperation will allow us to offer your seat to another participant!

Join us and let’s lead the change for more women in tech!

Closing the Gender Gap in Tech

Τhe gender gap in the tech sector persists, highlighting the underrepresentation of women in employment, leadership roles, pay equity, and access to opportunities. According to Deloitte’s Women @ Work 2023 report, while progress has been made, much remains to be done.

A study conducted by Deloitte in cooperation with the Federation of the Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises (SEPE) in December 2022 highlighted a projected need for 120,000 – 140,000 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professionals by 2030 in the Greek labour market. Bridging this gap requires equal access to STEM education for girls and boys, women, and men, yet according to the Deloitte EU STEM Observatory study only 20% of ICT graduates in EU countries are female.

The above emphasize the importance of Deloitte’s commitment to empowering women from all walks of life and creating a more inclusive future for women in technology by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and skills necessary for success in today's evolving professional landscape.
