Green Frog Award

Awarding the best annual sustainability report

This year Deloitte Croatia is joining the Green Frog Award initiative launched in Central Europe by Deloitte Central Europe in 2001 with the aim to present The Green Frog Award for the best sustainability report in Central Europe. Annual reports of many Croatian firms already contain sections about corporate social responsibility and sustainability, the non-financial disclosures to be aligned with The Directive 2014/95/EU on disclosure of non-financial and diversity information which comes into force in 2017.

Non-financial disclosures may be very beneficial for reporting entities, as they increase, among other things, investor confidence, help readers understand better the business model, strategy and risks of the company as well as identify new business opportunities. The Green Frog contest is aimed at encouraging, recognising and promoting firms already providing sustainability reports as well as inspiring others to follow suit.

The Green Frog Award is an excellent opportunity for You to present Your sustainable practice and ways of consciously and actively managing the economic, social and environmental impacts of Your firm. Sustainability has been an integral part of the operations of many Central European firms for quite a long time. Coupled closely with a company's strategy, it brings success and improved financial position to the company in the long run.

We are inviting You to apply to The Green Frog Award contest by submitting Your sustainability report. Sustainability reports for 2013/2014 will be evaluated by an independent jury of Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability experts.

Please send Your application, together with Your Annual Report, to the following e-mail: prijave@deloittece.com, with the following text in the subject line: Application Green Frog Award not later than by Friday, 30 October 2015. The winner will be announced in December 2015.

Further information about the contest at the Central European level is available here.
