Computer Cyber Forensic Associate

Work you will do

As an Associate in Forensic department, you will combine investigative skills with advanced technology and forensic tools to deliver innovative solutions for our clients' complex computer and cyber issues. In particular, you will be involved in:

  • Computer forensic investigation process using forensic techniques and tools, such as NUIX, Relativity, Encase, FTK Imager, etc.
  • Data collections and preservations from clients’ computers, mobile devices and cloud storages
  • Transformation of unstructured data into structured form
  • Data analysis and presentation of findings in support of fraud, embezzlement, theft of intellectual property and other investigations
  • Cooperation with local, regional and Central-European teams
  • Participation in client presentations and conference calls
  • You will be also continuously developing knowledge and understanding of computer forensics

Financial Advisory Capabilities

  • Analytics: Understands the mechanics of various analyses to support detection and prevention initiatives
  • Discovery : Leverages technology to perform data extraction, analysis and management in regulator-driven investigations, internal reviews or legal proceedings
  • Disputes: Gathers and prepares data required for loss of profits and other damages assessments
  • Financial Crime Performs an independent assessment of business environment and identify internal and external risks
  • Investigations: Gathers and analyzes data in relation to patterns on misconduct or fraud, using Deloitte’s data management capabilities
Other qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in overall IT, cyber security, IT audit or forensic area
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or other technology related area
  • Knowledge of SQL or other programming language would be an advantage


  • Flexibility to travel and work in EU and Adriatic region, mobility is crucial for this role
  • Advanced English skills, German would be a special advantage
