Helena Schmidt

Helena is a Partner in the Tax Department, and as of July 2023, she was appointed as the Country Leader of Deloitte's Croatian office. 

In Deloitte's Tax Department, she leads the indirect tax group and the business processing outsourcing group. With over 20 years of experience in taxes, including profit tax, income tax, as well as other areas of Croatian and international tax practice, Helena has assisted clients in processes such as VAT refund and VAT registration, the organization of supply chains from a tax perspective, and provided support to clients during tax audits. She has also participated in the review of tax processes for taxpayers.
