Our IFRS Team of auditors, tax consultants and advisors have a well sound track record and expertise to answer the complex questions related to IFRS transition and tax matters.
István Veszprémi has over 15 years experience in the field of corporate taxation, VAT, local and international taxation. He was involved in several international cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and transfer pricing projects. He has served Deloitte Hungary’s largest multinational and domestic clients on a daily basis assisting them in a wide range of tax issues.
István participated in the IFRS implementation tax working group of the Ministry for National Economy. As the responsible partner for the tax services related to IFRS transition, he has assisted several banks and other companies in the IFRS transition.
Gábor Molnár has more than 15 years of professional audit experience at Deloitte. During this time his clients were large Hungarian and foreign owned companies in the financial services, manufacturing, service and trade industries.
He has unrivalled experience in audit and advisory assignments related to consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with Hungarian and international accounting standards and unconsolidated (IFRS) financial statements, as well as advisory and audit projects in case of transformations. Gábor Molnár is also the expert of Securities and Derivative Valuation, Capital Markets and IAS 39/IFRS 9 at Deloitte's Budapest office.
Péter is a Partner of our Audit & Assurance service line in Hungary and the CE region. He gained many years of experience in working for retail and bank sectors, furthermore, he worked as a dedicatied IFRS expert in Belgium, where he also participated in international projects related to IFRS.He has expertise in implementing complex IFRS standards, developing IFRS financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Zoltán Mádi-Szabó is an IFRS certified registered auditor and holds an ACCA certificate in the United Kingdom. He obtained a degree in economics at the Janus Pannonius University and an Executive MBA degree at Bristol University. He joined Deloitte in 2017 with 20 years of professional experience and had previously worked as a personally responsible auditor for several years. He teaches IFRS and auditing at the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors and is a guest lecturer at the Corvinus University, and also acts as the Chairman of the Quality Control Committee of the Chamber of Hungarian Auditors.
