dr. Ákos Szauter

Ákos Szauter is a Partner Associate in the M&A service line of Deloitte Legal. He is an attorney-at-law, member of the Budapest Bar Association.

He obtained his law degree from Eötvös Loránd University, and he spent one year as an exchange student at the University of Copenhagen. Ákos obtained an LL.M. degree in US and Global Business Law from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts (US) in 2015. Prior to joining Deloitte Legal, he was an associate in the M&A, corporate practice group at a leading international law firm in Budapest.

With more than 10 years of experience, Ákos’ practice covers the entire spectrum of M&A transactions: cross-border and domestic share deals and asset deals, business transfers, private equity transactions, mergers/demergers, restructurings and joint ventures. His clients include strategic investors as well as private equity and venture capital funds domiciled in Hungary and in the EU. Ákos speaks English and German.
