Balázs Hegyi

Balazs joined the Sustainability and Climate Change team of Deloitte Hungary in June 2022 as a Senior Manager.

He started his career at the investment management department of Morgan Stanley Hungary in 2009. After gaining expertise in asset management and brokerage & clearing functions, he joined Deutsche Bank Risk and Compliance Center in Berlin in 2011 and covered a regional compliance role.

In 2014, Balazs moved to London and started working for MSCI in its regional head office where he established the compliance function in the EMEAI region and became the regional compliance officer for MSCI ESG.  His main responsibilities included the application of SEC requirements to MSCI’s European offices.

Balazs completed the Global Executive MBA program of IE Business School in 2017. In order to extend his expertise in ESG, he took the relevant exam of CFA UK and got qualified in ESG matters in 2021. (Level 4 qualification: Investing in ESG)
