Kristóf Kerényi

Kristóf is a Director with over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, holding a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification. He has performed and led a large number of security evaluation projects for clients across Europe and Asia.

In Deloitte, Kristóf participated and led various comprehensive security evaluation projects for commercial banks, clearing houses and other financial providers. The project scopes have ranged from simple applications to core banking solutions, with interfaces to a wide range of connections. Topics have included the security of infrastructure, applications, communication and interfaces to various other internal and external systems, as well as payment systems.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Kristóf focused on the security of CPE and other embedded devices, including the layers below the application software (middleware, OS, down to chip level). He had a good overview of the digital content delivery business and experience in automotive security.

He also lead research and development projects creating methodologies and supporting tools for secure software development and vulnerability finding.
