Deloitte Southeast Asia unveils graduate internship programme for 1,000 aspiring talents across the region
JAKARTA, 3 March 2025 – Deloitte Southeast Asia (“Deloitte”) has launched the Amplify Programme (“Amplify”), a graduate internship programme that is specially designed to equip new workforce entrants with the skills and experience needed for a career in professional services.
The programme will start with two intakes in 2025, accepting up to 1,000 interns in total across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. They can look forward to curated training and hands-on experience in areas such as accounting and reporting assurance, strategy and business design, business tax, cyber, and more. Of these, at least 100 individuals will be based in Indonesia.
Following the completion of the programme, up to 200 individuals across the region who demonstrate the ability to thrive in professional services work will be offered full-time employment at Deloitte.
Eugene HO, Chief Executive Officer, Deloitte Southeast Asia, said: “Amplify aims to empower individuals to define for themselves a purposeful career that makes an impact in today’s dynamic work environment.
“As the world’s largest professional services organisation, Deloitte’s multidisciplinary model and extensive global network will enable Amplify interns to gain experience delivering world-class solutions to the region’s most iconic companies. This initiative underscores our dedication to lead the way in shaping the future of professional services,” he added.
Amplify is open to graduating university students from all disciplines, as well as graduates with less than three years of work experience, who wish to explore their interests in a professional services career. Applicants must commit to an internship period of 12 consecutive weeks, which will include soft skills and leadership training, technical knowledge-building, hands-on experience as well as networking opportunities.
Amplify complements Deloitte’s existing recruitment and talent strategy. Deloitte continues to recruit undergraduate interns through its Inspires programme.
Brian INDRADJAJA, Indonesia Leader, President Director of PT Deloitte Konsultan Indonesia, said: “Investing in talent development not only strengthens our capabilities, it also helps ensure the long-term vibrancy of the professional services sector. Through Amplify, we want to continue collaborating with tertiary institutions and the broader public sector towards helping our country’s young talent to secure meaningful and purposeful employment.”
This programme is aligned to Deloitte’s global WorldClass ambition to empower 100 million people by 2030 through education and skills investment. In Southeast Asia, Deloitte is committed to making an impact on 5 million lives with education, skills and opportunities to succeed in the workforce.
Applications are now open for internships in May to August 2025. Interested applicants may view more details about Amplify and apply for the programme at this link by 30 March 2025: https://www2.deloitte.com/id/amplify-internship
