Powered by Biofuel - Advancing Indonesia's Biofuel Agenda

The report provides a comprehensive look at Indonesia's strategy, approach and growth of the renewable energy sector in biofuels and the palm oil industry as a critical biofuel feedstock. Discussions will cover the latest updates, opportunities and future challenges of the biofuel industry.

In line with the commitment to take action on climate change in the Paris Agreement, the Indonesian government is targeting to reduce greenhouse emissions to 29 percent with its own efforts and to 41 percent with international support by 2030. To achieve this target, the government is committed through the National Determined Contribution (NDC) to optimize the use of renewable energy, such as biofuels. An understanding of the industry, including opportunities and challenges will be an advantage for sector stakeholders to work together and develop strategies that will lead to the country's energy sustainability.
