Marc is a Partner with Deloitte Transaction Advisory with over two decades of transaction experience having led complex due diligence projects for many of Ireland’s top corporate entities.

Marc has a wide variety of corporate finance experience and specialised in capital market transactions due diligence, buyside due diligence and vendor due diligence. Marc has specialist transaction assignments in a wide variety of industry sectors which include financial services, technology, asset leasing, property, retail and distribution. As an experienced accountant Marc has engaged with and presented to senior executives in a number of Ireland’s largest companies.

Marc’s capital markets and diligence assignments have included work for large corporate clients of the firm and banks.

  • Mergon: Provided Vendor Due Diligence to Mergon Group Limited prior to its sale to Elysian Capital.
  • Conrad: Vendor due diligence services provided to the shareholders of the Conrad Hotel prior to its sale to an international investor.
  • Learning Pool: Financial vendor due diligence (incorporating data analytics) support on the sale of CCI’s majority stake in Learning Pool to Marlin Equity Partners.
  • Cross Rental Services: Financial vendor due diligence (incorporating data analytics) support on the sale of Cross Rental Services to Elysian Capital.
  • Innovu Insurance Group: Financial due diligence support on multiple insurance broker acquisitions.
  • Ekco: Financial due diligence to Ekco Cloud Holdings DAC on its acquisition of Ward Solutions and CTI Global.
  • Financial due diligence review for Bunzl plc in relation to its acquisition of Abco Kovex Limited, a distributor of flexible packaging solutions.
  • Financial and tax due diligence on IPL Plastics' acquisition of Plastic Bottles Supplies Limited, a UK based plastics manufacturer.
  • Financial due diligence on IPL Plastics' acquisition of Coral Products (Mouldings) Limited and Interpack Limited, two UK based plastics manufacturers, formally part of the Coral Products plc group.
