Deloitte’s M&A Team is pleased to announce it has acted as lead advisor to the shareholders of Rothco on the acquisition of the business by Accenture Plc.

Rothco is a leading Irish multi award-winning creative agency. It strategically plans, designs and produces powerful communication campaigns for brands such as AIB, Heineken, Tesco, eir and the National Lottery. In addition to creative campaigns, Rothco looks at how technology can enhance the creative process in order to better connect experiences with brands. Founded in 1995, Rothco consists of more than 150 strategic, creative, technology, design, project management and production professionals. The agency has a pedigree for award-winning campaigns and has found success at the Cannes Lions in 2016 and 2015, among other awards.

Deloitte Ireland has been named Ireland's M&A Financial Adviser of the Year by Mergermarket at the European M&A Awards 2017. The Deloitte M&A team has been involved in a broad spectrum of transactions this year across acquisitions, disposals and equity capital raisings including acting as lead advisor to Voxpro on the high profile transaction with Telus International earlier this year, advising One51 on the $150m acquisition of Macro Plastics in the US and advising Sovereign Capital on its investment in Irish insurance broker Arachas.
 
The M&A team are part of the Deloitte Ireland Corporate Finance team which comprises 11 partners and 165 staff covering Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt and Capital Advisory, Restructuring Services and Forensics.
