Deloitte Ireland wins National Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year Award 2019
Deloitte Ireland, the leading business advisory firm, has been announced as the winner of the 2019 Ireland Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year award in the International Tax Review (ITR) European Tax Awards. Deloitte was chosen from a range of firms which were nominated for the award. Deloitte Ireland previously won this award in 2017, 2016, 2013 and 2012.
Commenting on the win, Lorraine Griffin, Head of Tax at Deloitte Ireland said:
“We are delighted our Transfer Pricing team are being recognised yet again with this award. It is a reputable reward for our hard work and commitment to our clients in Transfer Pricing. By providing local expertise, along with a global support network, we are ensuring our clients get the breadth of knowledge and support that they require. Many multinationals based in Ireland, and operating in Europe and beyond, face significant transfer pricing challenges particularly given the global tax reset with the impact of the OECD/G20 Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project and EC anti-tax avoidance package now a key issue for our clients. This award is testament to how the team at Deloitte is helping clients respond to these challenges.”
The Deloitte transfer pricing team comprises of Gerard Feeney, Head of Transfer Pricing who collected the prestigious award. Gerard also works with a broad team of senior professionals across the tax team in Ireland, with extensive expertise not only in transfer pricing but also in international tax, indirect tax and customs. The team, which is part of the wider Deloitte Transfer Pricing team globally, has significant experience working with multinational companies and indigenous Irish businesses with operations outside of Ireland both in relation to compliance issues and on the advisory front where transfer pricing has been used to assist clients to align tax efficiencies with their business model.
Our team in Ireland continue to work with colleagues in the Deloitte global transfer pricing network in refining our “Go to Market” offering for transfer pricing documentation to help companies comply with the new OECD standard and to align the documentation offering we offer clients across the network. As a result the global practice now work with clients using our “Deloitte TP Digital Dox” tool and other documentation solutions to provide a collaborative, streamlined, and user-friendly process for efficiently gathering client information for transfer pricing documentation reports. In addition to transfer pricing documentation our team also assist clients in other areas including dispute resolution, CbC Reporting/data analytics, financing transactions and Business Model Optimisation (BMO).
