Claire Byrne - Radio and TV Broadcaster

Claire is a radio and television broadcaster with the national service provider RTÉ where she specialises in current affairs programmes.
Claire presents Claire Byrne Live on Monday nights on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now
On radio, Claire hosts a current affairs programme on Saturday afternoon called Saturday with Claire Byrne on RTÉ Radio 1. She joined the Morning Ireland team on RTÉ Radio 1 as one of the core presenters in the Autumn 2013.
She became the main evening News Anchor on TV3, winning the Irish Film and Television Academy's TV Personality of the Year Award and the TV Now Favourite News Anchor Award.
Claire joined Newstalk 106-108 FM in 2006 when the station went national. She spent four years anchoring The Breakfast Show, a current affairs programme.
Claire hosts awards ceremonies, chairs debates and is a judge with the Rehab People of the Year Awards and the Vodafone World of Difference programme.

Veteran Senior Campaign Staff for Obama
Roger Fisk is the political campaign, marketing and media strategist widely credited with playing a key behind-the-scenes role in the back-to-back electoral victories of US President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. He was heavily involved in these game-changing campaigns which are regarded as the best run presidential campaigns in the history of US politics.
Fisk has a deep understanding of 21st century presidential politics, political campaigning and the unprecedented power of information, relationships and marketing. He successfully engaged millions of people in long, sustained marketing and promotional strategies, using the internet and social media networks to great effect.
Following President Obama’s first campaign he served as Cabinet Liaison for the 2009 Inauguration, then became a political appointee in the Obama Administration.
In the Spring of 2012 Fisk joined President Obama's re-election team.
Fisk lectures on these revolutionary campaigning techniques while also offering high-impact seminars designed to enhance Executive Communications and Leadership Skills.
John is a Partner in the Corporate Finance Advisory Services Division of Deloitte, specialising in Debt & Capital Advisory. He is also a member of the board of the firm.
John has over 20 years financial services experience including 10 years spent in corporate banking and mezzanine finance.
Since joining Deloitte in 2010 John has acted as company side advisor to many mid and large corporates on raising new senior, unitranche and subordinated debt from Irish and International Banks and Alternative Lenders.
CEO, Enterprise Ireland
Julie Sinnamon is CEO of Enterprise Ireland, a position she has held since November 2013.
Prior to her appointment as CEO, Julie held a number of senior public sector positions, spanning a 30 year career in Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland.
Julie has considerable experience in a variety of industry sectors, most notably the food sector, where she has worked directly with some of Ireland's best-known food brands, from their originating idea, right through to globally trading multi-national food businesses.
Julie's driving ambition is to help more Irish-owned businesses to achieve business-scale through international growth, so that the associated job creation in Ireland drives rising prosperity in towns and villages all across Ireland.
Julie is a strong proponent of initiatives that drive diversity and a champion for women engaging at all levels within both the public and private sector, not as an end in itself, but because of clear evidence of the positive impact of diversity on corporate performance.
Julie is a business graduate of the University of Ulster, has a Masters in International Business (Fordham and IMI) and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Programme, USA.

Breege has until recently been a Board Member & Group Director (Business Development & New Markets) at Penneys/Primark and she continues with an Ambassadorial role in Primark. Breege has held government appointed positions on the board of a number of state companies including An Post, Aer Rianta, Chairman of Shannon College of Hotel Management, Chair of the Labour Relations Commission. Breege is currently a Non-Executive Director, Member of the Nominations Committee and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at C&C Group plc and a Trustee of IBEC.
Most recently Breege was honoured with the following awards:
- Awarded Knight (Chevalier) of The Ordre National de la Legion d’Honneur by President Francois Hollande in March 2016.
- Awarded ‘Iconic Businesswomen of the Decade’ at the WOMEN ECONOMIC FORUM on 16th May 2016, New Delhi, India.
- UCD Quinn School ‘Alumnus of the Year’ 2015 Awards in both Dublin and New York.
- The inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2014 IMAGE Businesswoman of the Year
- Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Business Award in 2011
Aidan Brogan joined Datalex in 1994. Aidan was appointed to the Board on 25 June 2012, and took up the role of CEO on 11 September 2012. Prior to taking up the CEO position Aidan was SVP of sales, and was instrumental in building the leading product and market position for Datalex.
With nearly 20 years’ experience in the airline and travel industry, Aidan’s background includes project management, system design, product development, marketing, business planning and international sales. Previous to this Aidan served a variety of roles for Westinghouse in Dubai, UAE, in its airline and travel business in the Middle East such as Regional Sales Manager and a range of support and development roles.
Country President, Sodexo Ireland
Margot Slattery is country president of Sodexo Ireland, part of the global Sodexo Group, the world’s largest multi-services company. In Ireland, Sodexo employs 2,100 people delivering services that improve the quality of life to clients and their staff at 200 site locations. It is a founding partner and signatory of Ireland’s first Diversity Charter.
Margot is part of Sodexo's global LGBT network leadership team, which has been influential in promoting and championing LGBT equality across the world.
She is the winner of a Trailblazer Award at the 2016 WXN Most Powerful Women in Ireland Awards and Senior Leader of the Year at GLEN’s inaugural 2015 Workplace Equality Index Awards. She appears in the 2016 Out at Work/Telegraph list of Top 50 LGBT Executives and the Cranfield University School of Management’s list of 100 Women to Watch in 2016.
Outside Sodexo, Margot sits on the Board of GLEN (the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network) in Ireland.

Founder & Former CEO - Realex Payments
Colm Lyon is the founder and CEO of Fire Financial Services and also the founder and former CEO of Realex Payments. Colm led Realex Payments to a position as one of Europe’s largest and most successful online payments businesses, processing in excess of €28 Billion per annum for 12,500 online retailers. In March 2015 Realex Payments was acquired by Global Payments in a deal valued at €115m. In 2009, Colm founded Fire Financial Services Limited - regulated as a European Payments Institution – providing business and personal customers with digital accounts - built on principle of giving customers a new and compelling experience
Colm is actively involved in industry, chairing the Irish Internet Association for several years, a board member of the Dublin Chamber and founder of the Internet Growth Alliance and Payments Ireland and was a founder and past chairman of the Fintech and Payments Association of Ireland. Colm was also on the Irish Government’s International Financial Services Industry Advisory Group. Colm has won numerous awards over the year for his contribution to business.
Ding enables 4 billion people in emerging markets to get connected in 3 seconds.
Mark founded Ding to enable foreign workers globally to recharge mobile phones back home. The inspiration for Ding came in 2005 when Mark discovered a slow and expensive process for these workers to send mobile recharge.
Mark has a background in telecoms and marketing. In 1991, Mark returned home from London and joined Denis O’Brien to help start Esat Telecom. In 2001 Mark founded easycash which deployed 500 in-store cash ATMs in SPAR stores and ESSO filling stations. easycash was sold to Royal Bank of Scotland in 2004.
Mark attended the College of Marketing and received an MBA from IMD in Switzerland. In October 2014, Mark was judged as overall winner in EY's Entrepreneur of the Year.
