Jason has provided audit and advisory services in both IFRS AND FRS 102 reporting frameworks across a wide range of business sectors with a focus on technology, manufacturing and Agri-Food. He has worked on the transition of numerous large audits and has developed significant experience in leading smooth transition processes for new clients and ensuring that the year one audit delivers on the expectations we have set. Gareth has experience of providing external audit services as well as accounting and financial statement advice to a wide range of national and international organisations. He has significant experience in the technology, energy and government sectors. Gareth joined Deloitte after completing his university degree in 2005. Through his experience he has developed strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102 and public sector accounting guidance. Gareth is a trained facilitator with experience of leading a range of training courses.

Responsibilities include GAAP (IFRS and Irish/UK) interpretations, accounting technical support and practical application of GAAP in Deloitte Ireland including for both on-going IFRS reporters and reporters converting to IFRS for the first time. Also has a lead role in the professional development and updating of clients.

Aisléan ​​Nicholson

Aisléan is a Business Tax advisory partner with more than twenty years’ UK tax experience. She is based in Belfast and focuses on the Northern Ireland market. Aisléan advises on business and group restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, financing structures, entry into new territories, new contracts and business models, tax strategy and the consequences of tax law changes. She works with clients across a number of industries, including technology, energy & resources, food & agri and consumer. Before joining Deloitte Ireland, Aisléan spent more than 18 years with Deloitte UK advising domestic and multinational companies on UK corporate and international tax matters. Aisléan graduated with First Class LLB (Hons) Law and Accounting from Queens University, Belfast. She is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (Chartered Institute of Taxation).

Donna Hemphill

Donna Hemphill is a Senior Manager in the Irish Indirect Tax practice. Donna spent eleven years as a Customs Manager in a logistics company and gained a wide knowledge of customs procedures and regimes involving duty suspension and avoidance, customs classification and rules of origin over a wide range of industries. More recently, she was employed as a Customs & Excise Specialist for a global tobacco manufacturer where she looked after customs and excise authorisations including Customs warehousing, End Use, EMCS and Registered Consignor/Consignee. She led the AEO accreditation process and developed a robust internal compliance program to include customs declaration analysis and internal controls. She has an excellent working knowledge of import and export entry completion and data analysis. Donna is a graduate of the University of Ulster with a upper second class honours degree in Business Studies. Donna recently gained a Distinction in the Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations with the Institute of Export (Joint highest overall score for 2016)
