Types of Graduate Programmes

How do I apply?
Deloitte is leading the way with innovation this year introducing a fast, efficient and effective online application and assessment process. The scenario-based graduate recruitment assessment presents graduates with situations they are likely to encounter at Deloitte and provides a robust understanding of what makes people successful at the firm.
Step 1: Click 'Apply Now' and start the application on your chosen service line. Complete your candidate profile.
Step 2: You will receive an email link to complete our online assessment (check spam folder). Just answer the questions naturally as there is no right or wrong answer.
Then tell us in less than 100 words why you want to join your preferred Deloitte service line and upload your CV.
Step 3: Interview: If you have been successful in your application, you will receive an email linking you to our online interview scheduling system.
Step 4: Offer: If we like you at interview – and you like us – we’ll offer you a job.

What kind of work would I be doing?
Each of our graduate programmes has a different focus. If you join our Audit & Assurance programme, for example, you’ll learn how to advise clients on their accounting systems and controls, ways to improve them and reduce risk. Whereas, in Technology, you’re more likely to be designing new systems or developing IT strategy. And in Tax Consulting, as you’d expect, you’ll become your clients’ expert in all things tax-related.
All of our projects are about problem solving, which happens best when we work collaboratively. Throughout your graduate training and entire career, you’ll connect with colleagues across different teams, to tackle challenges for our clients. With more projects focused on technology and the latest digital developments, we approach every client with a clear eye on the future. It’s that vision that enables us to help the biggest businesses make some of their biggest decisions.
As our clients’ businesses grow so will your expertise. You will gain “hands on” project experience working with professional and experienced teams. You'll be encouraged and expected to think for yourself, use your initiative and work collaboratively to deliver pioneering solutions for our clients.
What is the experience like?

From the moment you join, you’ll be treated as a Business Advisor, valued for the unique contribution you make and the fresh ideas you bring. You’ll work directly with clients on projects that have a very real and meaningful impact on their success. As well as gaining a recognised professional qualification, you’ll develop the kind of rounded business skills that will serve you well regardless of where your future takes you. And you’ll get all the support you need to become the leader you know you can be.

Who are we looking for?
Combined with strong academic results, we are seeking people who are analytical, confident, self-aware, results orientated and want to develop leadership skills early in their career. We encourage applications from a wide range of disciplines including business, engineering, maths, science, law, technology and arts, amongst others. Our success consistently lies in the fact that we recruit people who look at complex issues through a different lens. Other requirements include:
- Achieved or are currently on target for a 2.1 honours degree or higher
- A high level of self-motivation and commitment
- The ability to analyse and work through complex problems
- Flexibility, resilience and intellectual curiosity
- A proactive approach to work
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment
- The ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrated leadership, creative problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage change
- Some relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
