What does a typical day look like in your role?
At a high level, my role as a technical team lead involves working with the client to understand what they need in the system, and working with our team to make sure the deliverables meet the client's needs and are of high quality.
What attracted you to Deloitte as a career move? What development opportunities have you had since joining?
The projects Deloitte works on attracted me. Deloitte work with top clients in different industries, and often our projects are very impactful. Regarding development opportunities, I've been able to attend trainings organised by different international member firms.
In Deloitte, we work hard and play hard! There are so many sports and social clubs you can attend to meet new people.
What advice would you give someone coming for an interview on the team, and what can new joiners expect from their first few days at Deloitte?
Know the role well. Understand what the required qualifications and experience are for the role you are interviewing for. Tell the interviewer all the relevant experience you have for the role, and be yourself. In your first few days, you will meet your lovely team and colleagues, and understand more about Deloitte. In Deloitte, we also work hard and play hard! There are so many sports and social clubs you can attend to meet new people.
What is it about your role/industry that keeps you interested?
In my role, I get the opportunity to work with different clients across different industries. It is very interesting to understand how different companies operate and how our systems can make their lives easier. It is also very rewarding to the projects we developed go live and make an impact.
