Our third annual Deloitte Food & Beverage Seminar took place on 8 October in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin.
The theme of the event was 'Ireland as a Food and Beverage Centre of Excellence?'. Attendees included large food and beverage companies and government agencies.
The food and beverage industry in Ireland continues to grow, and significant opportunities arise both globally, through the opening of new markets, and at home through continuing changes in the domestic landscape. This seminar centered around these topics and explored how the industry in Ireland can leverage decades of development of know-how and expertise in the sector to position itself as a global centre of excellence.
David Hearn, Deloitte Partner and Head of Consulting, talked about a range of issues facing the market, including:
