The integrated performance management report presents the findings of the planning, budgeting and forecasting survey which saw over 500 Irish finance executives and their global counterparts participate.
The majority of finance executives are aware of the requirement for significant change in their planning, budgeting and forecasting activities and it features regularly on the agenda of Chief Financial Officers. Traditional PBF processes no longer effectively and efficiently serve the business. Based on experience with our clients here in Ireland and in line with the survey results, Irish executives are aware of this. When finance executives are asked about key challenges and priorities, they often cite planning, budgeting and forecasting, however, frustratingly, change rarely occurs.
