Delivering the prize

This report constitutes a joint all-Ireland study on change leadership and benefits realisation undertaken by the Association for Project Management (APM) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in partnership with Deloitte.

The study took the form of a survey  of project and financial professionals in private and public sector organisations. One of the missions of this survey was to gain insight into the challenges faced by managers and their organisations in realising benefits from investment in change.

Overall, the survey highlights the need for closer partnership working between project and finance professionals across organisations to enable successful benefits realisation. The survey also reveals that there is considerable synergy to be gained from cross-profession sharing of knowledge and best practice.
