2017 Human Capital Trends
An Irish Public Sector Perspective
The Public Sector in Ireland is undergoing huge social and economic transformation driven by the acceleration in technology and the need for user-centric thinking; heightened citizen expectations around transparency and efficiency; and service delivery reform.
The workplace is being disrupted and Government is being faced with new challenges in how it organises, recruits, develops, leads, and engages its workforce. The Deloitte 2017 Human Capital trends survey is the largest to date, with input from over 10,000 business and HR leaders, across 140 countries, including 196 leaders from Ireland. This report brings an Irish Public Sector perspective to the global trends, and demonstrates that these trends are already playing out in the Public Sector space.
