Irish government funds overview

National Development Plan

The Irish Government has launched four funds totalling €4 billion in the National Development Plan (NDP) for the period to 2027 to support Project Ireland 2040 across urban regeneration & development, rural development, disruptive technologies and climate action, which are planned to leverage investment from other sources and to assist Ireland meeting the objectives set out in the National Planning Framework (NPF).

These are to partially fund urban and rural regeneration and deployment, disruptive technology and climate action initiatives in line with the objectives of the National Planning Framework. The current competitions for funding have application dates between now and 1st October 2018, while the fund for disruptive technologies has a deadline date of 15th August for expressions of interest.
