In the EU, the European Council and European Parliament reached a political agreement on a Regulation setting prudential rules for investment firms. Locally the Central Bank of Ireland released publications in respect of predicting recessions in the EU Area, Culture and Behaviour in Banks and its penultimate report in respect of the tracker mortgage examination.
