Sourcing & Procurement
Procurement in 2020 will look very different than it does today. This radical and rapid change is transforming how organisations source and procure the various goods and services they need to operate. As a result, new strategies, skills, knowledge, and tools are emerging to address today’s — and tomorrow’s — shifting challenges and opportunities. Deloitte’s Sourcing and Procurement Practice has a proven track record of tackling these challenges and enabling our Clients to sustain measurable and impactful results. We support our Clients’ sourcing aspirations by partnering to create and execute tailored strategy through execution approaches that consider short versus long-term value tradeoffs, knowledge transfer, culture change, and capability building. We deliver rapid and meaningful results by helping our Clients optimise their indirect and direct spend needs through spend diagnostics, capability assessments, global category strategic sourcing, operating model and organisation design, technology enablement, contract risk and performance management, and mergers and acquisitions.
2015-2016 Private Label Sourcing Survey
In 2013, Deloitte published the results of our inaugural Private Label sourcing survey to highlight shifts in market trends and uncover leading Private Label sourcing practices. The 2015-2016 Private Label Sourcing Survey—with 388 respondents from Apparel, General Merchandise and Grocery retailers—builds on the previous findings and dives deeper into critical industry trends. The survey is one of the largest and most comprehensive studies of the Private Label industry to date.
