James Toomey has taken the reins from Dave Shanahan to lead this year’s Fast 50 programme. He is a partner in Deloitte’s M&A Advisory team based in Dublin. James works across a range of sectors with a particular focus on Technology, Software and Engineering supported by the fact he is both a qualified accountant and engineer, he spent time as a technology consultant with Accenture before joining Deloitte. James has significant experience in complex private equity transactions having acted for private equity on the buy side and for indigenous private businesses supporting them through private equity processes.
