Deirdre is a Financial Services Tax Partner at Deloitte Ireland. She is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience in advising financial services clients in the areas of investment management and funds, leasing, banking, securitisation and structured finance. She has made a significant contribution to the Irish Funds Industry over the last 15 years, including being elected as chairman of Irish Funds for 2007-2008 (Irish Funds being the industry body in Ireland).
Deirdre is the current Chairperson of the Deloitte Ireland Partnership Council. She is also the Corporate Responsibility Partner for the firm a member of the NSE Board.
Deirdre is a member of the Irish Funds Tax Steering Group, where she assists in the development of the Irish tax framework for funds with various stakeholders. In 2015, Deirdre was appointed to the Board of Deloitte Ireland. Deirdre is a member of the Deloitte Global Asset Pooling team and European Investment Management Team. Deirdre is Deloitte FSI Tax Leader for EMEA. For three consecutive years, Deirdre has been recognised, by International Tax Review, as one of the leading female tax advisors in Ireland.
