Nigel is a highly experienced and successful IT professional with over 30 years’ experience, both in end user and in consulting organisations. Educated at the University of Natal, South Africa, Nigel’s key strengths are his results focussed approach, excellent communication skills, vast experience with a broad range of international clients, and his ability to operate at the highest level of management.
In his distinguished career he has delivered roles as IT Manager in Goodyear South Africa’s retail and commercial channel organisation Tredcor, and Business Development, Project and Programme Management roles with IBM, ICL, Fujitsu Services and System Dynamics.
Over the last 10 years Nigel has focused on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), and technology solutions that underpin this discipline including IBM Maximo, the global leader solution in this space.
Nigel now leads the Deloitte Maximo Centre of Excellence (CoE), based out of Dublin, which serves the EAM needs of Deloitte clients globally from this highly respected team. The clients of the Maximo CoE span sectors including energy (generation and distribution), oil and gas, transportation, pharmaceutical and medical devices manufacturing, and facilities management.
Nigel has filled senior executive level roles in Maximo projects in clients such as Jones Lange Lasalle (JLL), Transport for London, Bord Na Mona and Northern Ireland Electricity.
Nigel is considered a visionary in the field of Asset Management, and is a regular speaker on the topic at international events.
