This is the first time the Pope has met with a delegation from a business company.
The relationship between the Vatican and Deloitte is long-standing and based on dozens of joint community projects around the world. During the meeting, the Pope spoke with the firm's executives and emphasized the tremendous responsibility of the business sector in leading and having a positive impact on the business and social environment in which it operates, certainly in light of the global crises and challenges.
