Dialogue with General Counsels and Legal Officers

Edition 1: Insights and Learnings

Welcome to the first edition of the General Counsel (GC) newsletter by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP.

As businesses evolve, the role of the GC has become increasingly strategic. All decision-making today involves the GC—as it is about the organisation’s risk profile, be it for matters facilitating its growth aspirations or addressing a crisis. This means that the GC today is expected to stay abreast of all developments that can potentially impact the business – legal or otherwise.

The GC newsletter aims to share relevant information that can help GCs perform their role effectively. This can include insights on regulatory developments, business risks due to operational changes, technology-related developments, and perspectives from GC colleagues.

We are also attempting to share learnings, experiences, and leading practices by the GC community across various industries. We would love to showcase your point of view and experiences on a variety of topics that you may like to share with the wider community.

We hope you will find this newsletter interesting and relevant.
