The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued new directions1
(“Direction”) to all Access Providers (“AP”) to curb spam calls/messages through Unsolicited Commercial Communication (“UCC”) under the Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulations (“TCCCPR”), 2018.
