Tax alert: Regulations on setting up and operation of Foreign Higher Educational Institutions’ campus in India

In line with the vision outlined under National Education Policy, 2020, and to provide an international perspective to the higher education ecosystem in India, including enabling students in India to obtain foreign qualifications at an affordable cost, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued Regulations for Setting up and Operation of Campuses of Foreign Higher Educational Institutions in India.
