Anand Ramanathan

Anand has over 16 years of experience across industry and consulting. Anand is currently a Partner with the Digital Customer and Marketing practice in Deloitte India. He is a graduate from BITS Pilani and has completed his MBA from IIM Indore and PhD from IIM Bangalore. As a Fellow at IIMB – Anand has conducted research and taught courses on retail and supply chain management at international universities, including Helsinki School of Economics; and BINorwegian School of Management, Oslo. He has over a dozen research publications in retail, distribution and supply chain/logistics. His work has primarily been in the consumer markets domain across various sectors such as Retail and E-commerce, FMCG and Agribusiness, assisting clients in large technology enabled business transformation programs in areas such as growth strategy formulation, sales acceleration, channel, sales and marketing effectiveness, omni channel design, new product development and store transformation.

He has helped marquee global and domestic clients in formulation of growth strategy, India entry strategy design, enhancing operational efficiency, review and design of their operating model and business plan and implementation. He has also assisted several clients in the public sector in policy review and formulation.
