Michael leads Deloitte’s Strategy & Analytics practice (Monitor Deloitte) in the Industrial Products & Construction (IP&C) Sector. He has led dozens of corporate strategy projects, business unit strategy projects, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) growth mandates across a range of sectors including industrial products, chemicals, auto parts, and consumer durables.
He joined Deloitte after 12 years at the Monitor Group, where he was a partner in the Strategy group and chief executive officer of the M&A Advisory practice. Previously, Michael worked as an investment banker with NM Rothschild & Sons on a variety of M&A advisory mandates.
He began his career as a corporate attorney with a national Canadian law firm, focusing on M&A, securities law, and financial restructurings, including the restructuring of Olympia & York’s Canary Wharf project in London.
