Hersh Fernandes is the cocreator of MyCommunity Center, an interconnected network of mobile apps that help families find, contact, and receive critical government and nonprofit services. Fernandes has deep experience in the nonprofit, for-profit, and government sectors. As senior technical assistance specialist at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative, he has worked with cities, counties, and states to create and implement service delivery models that streamline access to home repair services. Fernandes previously worked at Amazon Web Services, where he used large-scale data analysis to inform sales strategies to the US federal government, Department of Defense, and National Security community. He also served in the Obama administration on then–Vice President Joe Biden’s staff and on the White House Business Council. Fernandes earned his bachelor's degree at Texas A&M University and was a member of the A&M Corps of Cadets.
