Kwasi is principal in Deloitte’s Consulting LLP’s Government & Public Services practice (GPS) with more than 10 years of experience. Throughout his tenure, Kwasi has demonstrated experience guiding security and law enforcement executives through strategic and operational transformations to address emerging security threats.
To date, Kwasi has served more than 40+ clients across the Deloitte’s federal and commercial practices. More specifically, he has supported physical and information programs within the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and the financial services, telecommunications, technology, and energy sectors.
As a leader, Kwasi is passionate about mentoring and developing the next generation of diverse leaders. Most recently, he served as the Federal Inclusion leader, where he championed recruiting diverse through Deloitte’s first ever Inclusion Hiring Blitz.
Kwasi is an active skills-based volunteer in the non-profit and higher education community within the greater Washington D.C. area and serves as a board member for the Urban Alliance Foundation. In his spare time, Kwasi can also found rocking sidebar at his favorite spin studio with his wife, Kate, or sharpening his piano skills.
He is also an accomplished presenter including recent lectures at the University of Oxford and Georgetown University (“Building a Holistic and Risk-Based Insider Threat Program”). He has co-authored more than 15 publications in peer-reviewed research journals and industry trade magazines including recently published original research on the topic of incentive prizes in the public sector (“The Craft of Prize Design: Lessons from the Public Sector,” Deloitte Insights).

Kwasi holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry from Northwestern University, an MBA from Drexel University, and BA from Kalamazoo College.
