Hanna started his professional career working as an internal auditor in the private sector, for the wholesale and retail industry, in the US.Achieve his master’s degree in Business Administration, as well as my Certified Public Accountant, Forensic Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner certificates. Subsequent to joining Deloitte (ME) he was promoted from supervisor to senior manager in less than four years.
What does your role involve?
My specialty is internal auditing, as Senior Manager in the firm in the Palestinian ruled territories I cater for the needs of various industries including manufacturing, governmental and non-governmental organizations. I am also the firm’s local learning leader and regional coach facilitating the Y@D training program. Additionally I offer auditing and finance training classes to professionals from local companies.
Describe your experience to date?
I started my professional career working as an internal auditor in the private sector, for the wholesale and retail industry, in the US. While working on a full-time basis, I was able to achieve my master’s degree in Business Administration, as well as my Certified Public Accountant, Forensic Certified Public Accountant, and Certified Fraud Examiner certificates. Currently, I spearhead the Palestine firm’s internal audit line of service. In my role, I am consistently staying up to date with industry trends and the latest developments in order to provide our clients with a service that meets and exceeds their expectations. Subsequent to joining Deloitte (ME) I was promoted from supervisor to senior manager in less than four years.
Why did you join Deloitte in the Middle East?
After my return to my homeland, I joined Deloitte Middle East to be part of a world-renowned winning team which invests heavily to develop its professionals.
What type of activities within Deloitte ME have you been involved in?
I am involved in a variety of activities mainly facilitating learning programs, locally and regionally, like You@Deloitte which are structured training programs for new generation Deloitte auditors, and graduate recruitment programs and practice reviews conducted within the ME firm.
What makes you get up in the morning?
I enjoy the challenges and sense of accomplishment my career with Deloitte brings and most of all I enjoy the interaction with clients and fellow colleagues.
Most inspirational moment and why?
My most inspirational moment was when I was accepted as a member of Deloitte ME family. Working for Deloitte had always been my highest career priority.
